AU Tranche 2 · live since 1 July 2026 · Buyer’s agents · accountants · law firms

We'll be your compliance team — so you don't have to be.

Australia's Tranche-2 reforms made your firm an AML reporting entity on 1 July 2026, and the 29 July enrolment date has already passed. You don't need to hire an MLRO, learn the rules or build a program. Detekta becomes your outsourced compliance function — we run the due diligence, analyze every case, keep your obligations met and report to AUSTRAC. You keep serving clients.

🇦🇺 Australia · Tranche 2

The regime is already running.

Australia's AML/CTF reform extended the regime to "tranche-two" businesses — real estate professionals including buyer's agents and property developers, accountants, conveyancers, law firms and dealers in precious metals and stones. Obligations commenced on 1 July 2026: enrol with AUSTRAC, appoint a compliance officer, run an AML/CTF program, perform customer due diligence and report suspicious matters. It's the obligation set a bank carries — landing on a firm that was never built for it.

AUSTRAC opened enrolment on 31 March 2026, obligations commenced 1 July 2026, and enrolment was due by 29 July 2026. Which obligations bite depends on the designated services your firm actually provides — that is what we map in the call.
